What is George Afraid of San Francisco For?

I know the title is grammatically challenged, but hey, I’m just reflecting the language of our fair president.

President Bush paid an unusual visit to the Bay Area on Wednesday, ending a day in California that was all economics, all the time. Bush kept intact his record of never visiting San Francisco during his presidency

Already there are over 200 comments to this article, some of which are quite fun over at SF Gate.

George Bush, over the last seven years has visited numerous locations about the globe, including Iraq and Afghanistan a number of times. What is it about San Francisco that scares this man to such a degree that he wouldn’t set foot in this town? I have my theories. Any guesses?

You think that’s bad? No president has EVER been to Fowler, IN! I’m incensed! What is it about Fowler that scares this man to such a degree that he wouldn’t set foot in this town? I have my theories. He’s protecting his vital bodily fluids (we floridate the water here).

Of course GW Bush is afraid to go to San Franistan aka Than Franthithco (those are both popular nicknames among rightwing bloggers). He doesn’t want to catch AIDS from one o’ them homasexials.

As you know, if a person with AIDS sneezes, everyone in the vicinity will catch the disease :)

Ha ha ha! If Bush hadn’t given so much to fight AIDS around the world, that would almost be funny, Tom.

    Er, no, not even then.

Like they would really welcome him there.
You may not think he’s the sharpest tool in the shed but I am sure he has enough of an education to know you don’t catch Aids form a sneeze.
I also sure he doesn’t refer to homosexuals as “one O” them” .
Being against gay marriage does not make you homophobe. Unless you think Bill Clinton is a homophobe which means maybe his wife is too.

    Good one Craig

I guess that would make Obama and Edwards homophobes.
