Dan Rather said that a true professional reports the news without the personal bias and said he defied anyone to be able to discern his political affiliation from his reporting. The host, Mike Rosen, asked him if he was serious. He replied that he was. The moral to the story is that MSM news anchors do not think their bias shows. This is because the bias is so pervasive that when they review their work the do so through the same filter that they present it. Therefore unbiased news reporting will never be a reality. You have to try and get multiple news angles for any story to try and get at the truth. It was smart, poignant, scientifically savvy, and down to earth. And then something happened ...conservative talk radio. It was the social Trojan horse of a generation. Like any good virus it spread over the air waves with only the agenda of enforcing pre-formed opinions which do not need to be true to be liked. In fact most folks don't like truth because its complicated you have to be a scientist or something to understand it so most folks choose a bible and a radio show to tell them what to believe. The problem is that they don't realize what a profitable business selling bibles is and how many people are willing to place adds alongside someones e-pinion. Over the course of time this led us to cable e-pinion news in the form of Fox and so if those old world shaping and accurate news outlets wanted to stay relevant they had to sell out too. But now since we all know whats what maybe some one will be able to get back to selling the truth for the highest profits possible all you have to do is convince every one that all the other outlets are liars.
