Hey, if Microsoft can fix that POS Yahoo! Music Player, I'm all for the merger. I doubt if they can do it though.

when Yahoo! has an error will the screen turn blue and will you need to reset your router?

Yahoo! is also already Mozilla Firefox unfriendly (as well as Safari for that matter) and so what will happen next.

This merger/buyout/takeover sucks. I hope the Yahoo news site isn't affected. As far as MSM sites go, it's the fastest and most complete. And unlike most news sites, you can get the first paragraph of a story by just moving the cursor over the headline without clicking.

MSNBC is too sloooow, too many popups and too many of their stories are like the Roach Motel: no matter how many times you click on the Back arrow, you can't go back.

If that same format and ineptitude spreads to Yahoo! News, I may have to surf nothing but the "alternative" news sites. Come to think of it, maybe there's a silver lining here after all...

It'll stay Yahoo! Microsoft is just afraid of getting trounced by Google who already has open office on their gmail accounts. Nothing like editing an excel file on a computer without Microsoft products on it...

I am a Google man but for some reason... I set my homepage as Yahoo! back when I had Prodigy back in college in 1996. qnj93a@prodigy.com baby!! that was my email...my how we have grown...
